 As a Supply Chain Analyst you will be responsible for analysing and optimising the end-to-end supply chain operations within Order Fulfilment, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and contributing to the enhancement of customer satisfaction.

Through data-driven insights and strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in driving informed decision-making, inventory management, demand forecasting, and partner relationships, ultimately fostering a more agile, responsive, and cost-effective supply chain to support the growth and success of our e-commerce operations.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

This job is for you if you have:

  • 5-7 years’ in similar role, ideally in a retail environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, R) to analyse large datasets, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, operations, logistics, and network design.
  • 7 years’ experience data management
  • Strong skills in statistical analysis and programming (Python, R, SQL), with a preference for machine learning expertise.
  • In-depth understanding of supply chain analytics, including areas like inventory management, transportation, and network optimization.
  • Proficiency in multi-objective optimisation and linear programming, adept at data visualization (using tools like Seaborn or ggplot), and solid problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments, such as finance, logistics, and business development, to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals
  • Ability to analyse complex supply chain data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Skill in resolving supply chain challenges, such as disruptions, delays, and capacity constraints, to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, demand fluctuations, and emerging trends in the e-commerce industry.
  • Understanding of key forecast accuracy metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of demand forecasting strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements, and create comprehensive reports for informed decision-making.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain process; propose and implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and speed.
  • Evaluate supply chain costs, including transportation, warehousing, and procurement, and develop strategies to optimise expenses without compromising quality or service.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations and regularly track and analyse them to monitor performance and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Leverage supply chain management systems and tools to automate processes, improve visibility, and enhance decision-making accuracy.
  • To analyse and forecast business growth plans against capacities and capabilities within the network to ensure the supply chain can meet demand spikes and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and promotional activities to optimise inventory levels and meet customer demands efficiently.
  • To effectively communicate supply chain insights, recommendations, and challenges to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
