Key Responsibilities 

  • Understand client business processes, interpret sector trends, and apply industry best practices. 
  • Analyse, interpret, and present data-driven insights to support Supply Chain (including Accounts         Payable) 
  • Build and manage relationships with clients. 
  • Support data quality and completeness assessments based on core data principles. 
  • Execute ETL processes into relevant platforms. 
  • Build and optimize data models to enhance analytical capabilities. 
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, or Qlik, or QuickSight. 
  • Apply process mapping techniques to define and capture business processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement. 
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into actionable data solutions. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and data solutions. 
  • Conduct complex business problem-solving using data-driven approaches. 
  • Understanding and leveraging systems like SAP, COUPA, ARIBA for data analysis and business process improvements is required. 
  • Participate in discussions around business processes and improvements with key stakeholders. 
  • Act as a bridge between business users/requirements and the technical design and development teams to ensure effective data-driven solutions. 

Key Skills & Competencies 

Business & Analytical Skills 

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Finance processes. 
  • Ability to manage a team of 5-10 people effectively. 
  • Expertise in Procure to Pay, Warehouse Management, Sourcing, Contract Management, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. 
  • Ability to perform data storytelling and visualization for effective decision-making. 
  • Experience with process mapping to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. 
  • Ability to conduct stakeholder management, engaging stakeholders at different levels to understand and translate requirements into data solutions. 

Technical Skills 

Must-Have: 

  • Cloud experience in AWS or Azure (if not AWS, candidate will be required to certify in AWS in short period of time). 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis. 
  • Experience with Power BI, or Qlik, or Amazon QuickSight. 
  • Proven experience with data analysis, visualization, and business process optimization.
  • Proven Hands-on experience with data modelling
  • Strong understanding of business accounting principles. 
  • Working knowledge of SAP for business data analysis. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Exposure to APIs and integrating data sources. 
  • Knowledge of Python (PySpark) for data processing. 
  • Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for transformation workflows. 
  • Working knowledge of COUPA, ARIBA for business data analysis. 
  • Familiarity with Process Mining Tools such as Mehrwerk, Celonis, or Signavio. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Analytics, BCom Logistics with information management or related from a reputable institution. 
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role. 
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Analyst, SQL Certification, AWS Certifications, or similar are an added advantage.
