About the Role

This role in the Cape Town headquarters involves the strategic analysis of fulfillment data and merchant performance across the e-commerce platform. Utilizing AWS for scalable data solutions and Oracle for financial reporting, the graduate ensures compliance with platform policies and minimizes operational risk for sellers. Their work is essential for the data-driven expansion of the fulfillment network and improving the efficiency of the national logistics grid.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and Logistics or any equivalent discipline

The skills we need:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity in developing content, ideas, and marketing concepts.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media channels, Google Analytics, email marketing tools).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace tools.

Key responsibilities:

  • Outbound Planning & Coordination: Helping plan and manage production, and delivery to ensure seamless operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory & Dispatch)
  • Procurement Support: Work with our Sites and Services team, maintaining relationships with suppliers and uphold of SLA’s.
  • Inventory Management: Tracking stock levels, processing orders, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
  • Dispatch: Monitoring shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and coordinating with distributors and partners.
  • Data Analysis: Interpreting operational data to identify bottlenecks, solve problems, and find opportunities for improvement.
  • Cost Reduction: Developing strategies to cut expenses while maintaining quality.
  • Process Improvement: Innovating and optimizing supply chain processes for greater efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identifying vulnerabilities and helping create contingency plans.
  • Sustainability: Implementing eco-friendly practices and meeting environmental goals.

Career Growth & Education

A Degree in Commerce, Logistics, or Information Systems is required, with career growth accelerated by pursuing professional certifications in project management (PMP) or supply chain (APICS). Advancement moves toward Product Manager or Head of Logistics roles for those who demonstrate strong commercial acumen. Engaging in specialized workshops on fintech and digital supply chains provides a pathway to senior roles in the global tech economy.
