Job Description

• To render and maintain an effective and efficient procurement function that will ensure value for money when acquiring assets, goods and services

Requirements

• NQF level 7 in Supply Chain Management
• Minimum of 4 years working experience in SCM
• Knowledge of Public Finance Management ACT
• Knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Legislative Framework

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive procurement requisitions
• Coordinate compilation of Bid specifications
• Prepare documents for procurement committees
• Process procurement requests in line with applicable policies and procedures
• Provide feedback on progress to users on their requests
• Safe keeping of records of transactions
• Provide secretarial services for procurement committees
• Keep records of activities and or statistics
• Maintenance of vendors and suppliers database
