Team Leader needed at RCL Foods

We at RCL FOODS are in search for a TEAM LEADER to join our GROCERIES Business Unit/Division. The role will be based in RANDFONTEIN and report to the RAW MATERIAL COORDINATOR. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to:

Ensure inward handling shifts are loading and offloading and ensure the site is cleaned daily and maintain site GMP.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12
• Knowledge of Syspro/SAP/ MS Office
• Understanding of inward logistics and raw material handling
• Experience as a forklift driver and/or with a licence beneficial
• Proven working experience in a supervisory position beneficial

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Ensure sense of urgency in offloading and that no idling is happening.
• Report any discrepancies on the LAB results of the load (if it fails) to Management and procurement.
• As this factory is a 24 hour operating plant ensure that personnel are always by all means necessary available (Weekends and Night Shift) including but not limited to practically getting people when Management and operations requires.
• Inspect daily raw material trucks outside the factory to determine the daily production plan and targets.
• Safe storage and handling of raw material at offloading point and in warehouses
• Ensure safe offloading from clean and hygienic trucks of received raw materials
• Liaising with plant managers with regards to raw material movements onsite
• Ensure all internal stock movement is done on time and efficiently
• Obtain and maintain housekeeping standards and ensure that SHEQ requirements are adhered to.
• Collecting of by-products 
• Loading of by-products and waste products
• Assist the laboratory with raw material sampling
• Ensure all vehicles are sampled and approved
• Assist the Raw Material Team with stock taking
• Manage the loading / off-loading team and ensure correct action is taken in line with company policies 
• Manage cleaning teams including Interwaste
• Ensure site cleanliness is maintained daily and throughout the day
• Ensure all waste products are removed daily
• Vehicle inspections to be done daily
• Intake area and waste storage areas to be inspected daily
• Communicate leave and overtime requirements to Raw material coordinator
• Ensure safe re-loading of rejected raw materials
