Technical Analyst Global Grade 09 needed at Barloworld Equipment

Key Outputs

• Constructively log product matters with OEM
• Effective troubleshooting on equipment and to carry out diagnostics using CAT ET
• Effective time management
• Caterpillar preventative maintenance orientated
• Maintain professional image as a Barloworld Equipment front line personnel member
• Constant Communication between TA and SEENG, through Tech Rep
• Compile technical reports on all systems (TA report)
• Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine systems and carry out repairs, services, and maintenance on Earthmoving Equipment on customer sites or at BWE site.
• Effective control of own admin (daily labour booking, accurate service reports etc….)
• Provide customers with feedback during repairs and upon completion of repairs at customer’s site.
• Uphold and maintain QMS standards
• Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR’s) And
• Technical Analysis Reports (TA’s),
• Maintain professional image when representing BWE

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Matric (Grade12) or equivalent
• Qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) NQF3,
• 5 years qualified post Apprenticeship/ Learnership
• Fluent navigation and familiarity of SIS2.0
• Valid Driver’s License
• Access and familiarity with Caterpillar DSN
• Fluent Schematic reading (Electrical & Hydraulic)
• Time management skills
• 7 years qualified trade
• Computer literate (MS Office and SIS, ET)
• Basic trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Applicable product knowledge
• Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures
