Technical Buyer -Mining /Engineering Job at MPRTC Recruitment

• Join a leading mining equipment manufacturer as a Technical Buyer, responsible for sourcing and evaluating technical components, supporting engineering and procurement teams, and ensuring cost-effective, compliant purchasing solutions.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• CIPS Level 4 qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in technical procurement within the mining sector.
• Strong knowledge of mining equipment, spare parts, technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Experience with ERP systems, supplier evaluations, and technical sourcing.
• Good understanding of OEM standards, ISO 9001, and mining safety regulations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel for supplier meetings and technical reviews.
