Technical Head SEA Taste & Wellbeing needed at Givaudan

Budget and Strategy

• Provide direction from the local applications and creation standpoint to develop S+T strategies
• Manage the lab/pilot plant equipment needs within the capital budget to improve the technical projects within the Segment Group, Creation Group and Country Technical team
• Coordinate with all departments the needs of the department and manage the approach and tools needed to improve the technical execution of the Segment Group, Creation Group and Country Technical team

Technical Expertise

• You will be the main technical contact at selected key accounts to develop relationships at the customer to better complete at all levels of project requirements and leading customer visits and product presentations at the customer
• Be a technical expert and advisor to marketing, sales, flavour creation, application, sensory and customers for multiple applications and creations
• Participate as a local champion for new Technologies

People Management

• Manage the performance of a (team more than 4-6 members) Segment Group, Creation Group and Country Technical team to accomplish the technical objectives to meet or exceed the goals
• Take responsibility to build a diverse and inclusive environment and uses differences in styles, thinking and approaches

Your Education

• Polytechnic or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related area or M.S. in Food Science , Chemistry, or related area or Ph.D. in Food Science, Chemistry, or related area
• Polytechnic or Bachelor’s Degree: minimum 10+ years of experience in a food applications lab, flavorist lab, production or related area
• M.S.: minimum 7+ years of experience in a food applications lab, flavorist lab, production, or related area
• Ph.D.: minimum 4+ years of experience in a food applications lab, flavourist lab, production, or related area

Your Professional experience

• Project management skills with excellent, experience record to develop a broad set of relationships for all functional areas inside of Givaudan and at several key accounts
• Complete ability to effectively work with customers and provide technical solutions for all issues and to engage the correct technical team at Givaudan
• Supervise and manage all levels of the technical team and routinely provide guidance for their knowledge and technical skill development
• Prepare and present a broad variety of innovative technical presentations within Givaudan and to customers
• Ability to communicate with all functional groups to effectively align resources and successfully execute technical objectives
