An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Manager position in the North west  –  to assist with managing performance of a shift or skilled and semi-skilled artisans, ensure successful implementation, monitoring and management of SHEQ procedures. Minimum Requirements    

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic and Electrical (trade papers essential),
• Diploma/ NQF Level 6 
• Mechanical engineering tertiary,
• Must have 10 years or more experience,
• MUST have experience on MAN, Volvo, VW and MB,
• Must have experience in accounting,
• Must be fully computer literate,

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Manage three workshops and manager the workshop teams,
• Develop and maintain a sound relationship with workshop and operations staff and suppliers,
• Manage the fleet maintenance programme,
• Manage the budget and compiling thererof,
• Manage day to day vehicle maintenance costs to acceptable levels,
• Manage store stock levels and the purchase or replacement parts and equipment,
• Mentor and coach the workshop team,
