Required Skills

• Trade Tested Millwright
• Minimum N4 or equivalent – wire-man’s licence will be to your benefit
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience post qualifying, in mechanical and electrical
• maintenance preferably in a processing environment
• Successfully passed the Trade test and qualified as a Millwright is essential
• Proven background and demonstrated techniques to facilitate PLC fault finding is essential
• Prior working knowledge and experience in Pragma Maintenance System would count in your favour
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, stand-by and overtime
• Must be in possession of own transport and valid driver’s licence
• Must be able to exhibit prior working knowledge, demonstrate practical methods and execute joint
• problem solving and root cause analysis techniques with all levels of staff
• Proficient in operating a computer and above average skills in Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
• requirements up to date.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintenance of processing plant
• Experience in processing. Pasteurisers as well as sterilisers.
• Execute scheduled, routine and corrective job cards on Shop ware and Onkey5
• Complete assigned actions and drive continues improvement
• Optimise production performance
• Scheduled maintenance of production equipment
• Energy optimisation
• Maintenance and fault finding on PLC systems
• Perform Standby duties
• Maintenance and fault finding on all electrical and mechanical equipment, Separators, homogenisers, etc.
• Breakdown management and handling associated pressures
• Carry out general preventative maintenance
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation (incl. compliance with HACCP and Health and Safety)
• Plant OEE improvement
• Liaise with production staff
• Be an active part of the engineering team with a positive outlook
• Display enthusiasm and creativity by being a team player; and
• Show the passion and self-drive required for your work by being proud of your outputs
