Technologist: Histology – Cedar Fourways needed at Ampath

Purpose of Position:

• To Manage all Activities in the relevant laboratory on a daily basis to ensure that set targets and objectives are achieved and maintain high quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

• HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, National Diploma: Biomedical Technology

Required Experience:

• Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain laboratory in order to ensure a clean and safe work environment, Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform general laboratory tasks in order to ensure the effective functioning of the laboratory,
• Perform special laboratory procedures in order to ensure timeous resulting of specimens, Receive and process specimens in order to ensure effective and efficient specimen flow in the laboratory
