Temp Reliever (Main Lab) – FTC needed at Sappi

• We’re on the lookout for Temp Reliever (Main Lab) – FTC to assist Main Lab in reducing overtime by providing leave/training relief.

As a Temp Reliever (Main Lab) – FTC you will be responsible for:

• Take and hand over shift, ensuring smooth operational continuity.
• Operate equipment following best operating practices.
• Collect and prepare samples for analysis.
• Perform laboratory tests using instruments and ISO-compliant methods.
• Analyze samples to generate accurate data and report results via LIS. 
• Handle special sample requests as required.
• Communicate safety issues to Shift supervisor and production personnel.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in the plants when sampling and ensure housekeeping in main lab
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks in line with SHEQ requirements.
• Do BBS observations and report Unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and Near miss.

What are we looking for?

• Matric (Grade 12) with maths & Physics or N3 in Pulp and Paper.
• At least a minimum of 3 months relevant experience as Process Trainee.
