Temporary Reliever – Engineering Stores FTC needed at Sappi

Description

• We’re looking for a Temp Reliever – Stores to support our stores operations by providing relief during leave, training, or periods of high workload. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations and reducing overtime across the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment through daily risk management and adherence to SHEQ standards.
• Report all accidents, incidents, and fires promptly to the Supervisor or Safety Representative.
• Maintain workplace housekeeping and conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and regular BBS observations.
• Manage waste effectively – prevent overflow, separate correctly, and ensure proper disposal.
• Coordinate with the plant on material receiving, deliveries, and general communication.
• Perform Stores operations: bin materials, issue and deliver stock, and transport safely as per SAP procedures.
• Maintain valid licenses for store vehicles (e.g., forklift, crane) and complete all required administrative records and shift handovers.
• Support employee growth and development through skills training and qualification opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in Stores or warehousing will be an advantage.
• Must reside 50km from Sappi Ngodwana
