Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Analyze tender documents, specifications, and requirements to understand project scope and client needs.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
  • Prepare accurate cost / pricing estimates, technical proposals, and tender documents in alignment with project specifications and company standards.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and mitigation strategies for tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and partners to obtain competitive pricing and technical inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements throughout the tendering process, including export control when needed.
  • Review and negotiate terms and conditions to optimize project profitability and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain tendering databases, documentation and records for future reference and analysis. Usage of Sales Force, STARS and other internal Tendering / Selling tools is a relevant responsibility.
  • Support post-tender activities, including clarification requests, negotiations, and contract finalization.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform tendering strategies and enhance competitiveness.
  • Bring all ideas and suggestions to increase Sales effectiveness.
  • Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
  • Apply LEAN directives and communicate with the Team.
  • Familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts of the activities and processes involved in the role and the procedures, practices, and measures to manage the impact.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Engineering
  • 5 Years of tendering experience within an engineering environment.
  • Experience in sales support functions.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Strong technical background with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in tendering software, project management tools, and MS Office suite
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills
  • Problem solving and conflict management.
  • Open for changes, demonstrates willingness to change.
