Job Description

• An established organisation within the automotive manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced and technically strong Toolsetter to join their production team.
• This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on individual with solid injection moulding and tooling experience who can ensure machines and moulds are set up correctly, production runs efficiently and quality standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Set, change and maintain moulds on injection moulding machines
• Set and optimise machine parameters for efficient production
• Monitor production processes and ensure consistent product quality
• Identify and resolve tooling, machine and process-related issues
• Troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime and production losses
• Perform basic maintenance and assist with continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all tooling and production activities comply with safety and operational procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Toolsetter within an injection moulding environment – essential
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes, tooling and machinery
• Proven fault-finding and technical problem-solving ability
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work shifts and overtime as required
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
