What you will be doing:
- Daily review and upkeep of trade data in firm systems.
- Timely and accurate identification and resolution of breaks, coordinating with internal teams and external parties (vendors, administrators, custodians, agents).
- Responsibility for LMA Par/Distressed and Bond Settlements; managing the trade lifecycle (confirms, transfer certificates, pricing letters).
- Daily review and resolution of trade date position exceptions; working with Fund Accountants to prioritise trade settlements.
- Report on aged unsettled trades, unallocated trades, and short positions with commentary for management review.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
- Elect and process Amendments and Corporate Actions; drive initiatives for process improvement and enhanced performance.
- Working within a high-performance culture of continual improvement, with a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I).
What our client is looking for:
- Knowledge of LMA/LSTA Par and Distressed Documentation, and experience with Bond settlements and processing.
- Familiarity with WSO (Wall Street Office) and Clear Par.
- Strong experience in corporate action election and processing (LendAmend a plus).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Must be a self-starter, highly self-motivated, and possess a “change mindset” focused on continuous improvement.
- Strong planning, organization, and time management skills to deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be a team player, able to work collaboratively with and through others.
- Excellent analytical skills, intellectually curious, an effective problem solver, and critical thinker.
- Highly attentive to detail, pro-active, and eager to take on new challenges.
