- Comply with VPO safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and legislation.
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
- locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation and or systems.
- Plan and prepare the job.
- Carry out repairs / maintenance.
- Operate workshop equipment.
- Stop and start Utilities equipment.
- Communicate effectively in teams.
- Maintain, repair equipment, improvements and optimise plant and associated equipment.
- Contribute to self and team development.
- Safe maintenance practices audited.
- Adherence to PPE policies.
- Maintenance tools are in good working order.
- Comply with VPO requirements for LOTO and PTW.
Minimum Requirements:
- N4 Mechanical /Electrical.
- Trade tested Millwright with Red seal.
- Knowledge of the brewery utilities plant would be an advantage.
- Contractor management skills.
- Problem Solving skills e.g. 5Why, AB reports, closing out CR 360.
