Vacation Work Program needed at Cognia Law

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated 3rd and 4th-year students who are passionate about the legal field. As a Vacation Work Program Participant, you will have the chance to gain practical experience and insights into the legal profession while working closely with our team of legal experts. This program is only available to candidates residing in Cape Town. This program will run from 8th – 16th July 2024.

WHAT THE PROGRAM WILL COVER

• Intelligent Review: Explore the cutting-edge technology and methodologies used in intelligent document review. Witness firsthand how technology is transforming the legal landscape.
• Legal Tech: Get a glimpse into the future of law with hands-on exposure to legal technology. Learn how innovation is reshaping legal processes.
• Commercial Contract Management: Gain insights into the intricate world of commercial contracts. Understand the importance of effective contract management in the business world.
• Financial Documentation: Dive into the world of financial documentation, where precision and attention to detail are paramount. Discover the significance of financial documents in legal practice.

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th-year Law degree program.
• Residing in or around Cape Town.
• Availability in the week 8th – 16th July 2024.
• Strong academic record.
• Enthusiasm for the legal field and ALSP in particular.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Analytical and Critical thinking.
• Adaptability to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
• Professionalism and strong work ethic.
