- We have an amazing opportunity for a Value-Added Services Manager to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?
- The Value-Added Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and profitability of Value-Added Services (VAS) products across all sales channels.
- This role requires the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues effectively and in a timely manner, while anticipating potential problems and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with relevant departments. The Manager is also expected to foster and maintain professional business relationships at all levels and lead a team dedicated to resolving customer queries.
You Bring:
- 12 months’ experience managing similar product offerings.
A Bonus To Have:
- A relevant Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Management or similar.
What You’ll Do For The Brand:
- Responsible for product and brand growth.
- Manages and integrates the products to reach brand targets. Regularly meet with retail and online operations to review brand performance, advise and partner with them on strategies to maximize growth coupled with product enhancements.
- Ensure that brand growth strategies and initiatives are timeously implemented by the retail and online/digital marketing teams.
- Work closely with the mobile teams to promote TUV on the ground during their activations.
- Ownership of product performance and profitability (analyze which marketing avenues need to be improved based on analytics and user engagement/experience with the brand).
- Constantly work to improve customer experience with the brands and possible enhancements where required.
- Conduct market research on competitor products or any other entry to market in line with the growth strategy.
- Working with technical experts to ensure that the product integrates online on viable applications and that the product uptake on these platforms is maximized.
- Responsible for the reporting of stats by distributor daily/weekly/monthly. Analyze these stats regularly to identify any inconsistencies.
- Investigations into any inconsistencies picked up either at a distributor level or client level – work with the investigations team to review accounts in conjunction with the bets taken to identify possible fraud.
- To assess the product regularly to identify possible risk areas and to ensure we do the necessary to prevent fraud
- To review and approve monthly commission to distributors.
- Identifying and upskilling key team members to assist with efficiently growing these respective portfolios.
- Manage a team that works on resolving customer queries and ensuring feedback is provided timeously.
