What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

• You’ll be managing ventilation projects from start to finish, overseeing the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of bespoke ventilation solutions for the mining sector.
• Working closely with design and engineering teams, you’ll ensure compliance with industry regulations and deliver efficient, high-quality systems.
• Site inspections, performance evaluations, and technical assessments will form part of your daily responsibilities, ensuring the best possible solutions for your clients.
• In addition, you’ll engage in business development, building strong relationships within the mining industry and identifying new sales opportunities.
• Your role will also include preparing technical proposals, presenting solutions to clients, and representing the company at industry events.

What you’ll need

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field is essential, along with at least five years of experience in ventilation engineering.
• You should have a proven track record in managing turnkey ventilation projects, a deep understanding of mine ventilation systems, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience working with fabrication and design teams will be crucial. Business development and sales experience within the industry would be a strong advantage. Willingness to travel to client sites is required.
