Description

• The incumbent would be responsible for creating and operating sequential graphics for display on the video wall during live and pre-recorded productions.

Budget Compliance

Preparation

• Prepare the video wall graphics as per running order.
• Loading and testing the rundown.
• Ensuring that all the graphic elements are loaded and play out correctly.
• Running on air tests when required.
• Checking all graphics before going on air.

Production

• Create effects for video wall use.
• Route live feeds to the video wall.
• Play out video wall elements as per running order, during live and pre-recorded programme.

Design

• Have the ability to design on Photoshop.
• Conceptualise graphical elements for use on the video wall.
• Come up with new designs in conjunction with the rest of the Graphics Team.
• Complete graphic requests using the applicable system.

Requirements

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate – Essential
• 3-year National Diploma in Graphic Design / Broadcast – Essential
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design / Broadcast – Recommended

Experience

• 3 years’ experience in Graphic Design within Television / Live Broadcast – Essential
• Drivers License – Recommended

Computer Literacy
