Warehouse Manager needed at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Manager to lead and strengthen a dynamic warehouse team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of warehouse operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where continuous improvement is key.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient daily operations
• Manage raw materials, finished goods, and consignment stock
• Conduct monthly stock takes and maintain optimal inventory levels
• Optimise warehouse layout, stock flow, and storage systems
• Implement and maintain 5S and GMP standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce warehousing costs
• Ensure OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery performance
• Collaborate closely with production and distribution teams
• Monitor KPIs, report on performance, and implement corrective actions
• Manage shift work in a unionised environment

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing / stock control
• At least 2 years’ experience in a warehouse management role
• Strong ERP systems experience (Syspro advantageous)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and advanced functions)
• Experience with import and export containerised loading and destuffing
• GMP / food safety warehousing experience (advantage)
• Proven leadership and people management skills
