Warehouse Supervisor needed at AECI Limited

Job Description    

• Responsible for planning and coordinating deliveries either by internal or external transport.
• Required to generate purchase orders for all warehouse and logistic related service providers.
• Responsible for accurate recording of stock data and transporter information.
• Responsible for ensuring that all finished products dispatched is accompanied by the correct documentation and traceable by batch/bag number.
• Required to assist in the role of Customer Care Representative when required.
• Management of dispatch staff, including overtime.
• Liase with production, and Sales team, to ensure customer stock requirements are met.
• Ensure dispatch staff availability to meet delivery schedules.
• Required to manage stock in warehouses, as well as dispatch area.
• Manage and control distribution costs by exercising accurate load planning.
• Responsible for the productivity of the employees under his/her control.
• Preform monthly cycle counts of finished goods, as well as partakes in the quarterly stock counts.
• Meticulous housekeeping adhered to in all areas of responsibility.
• Ensure company policy, procedures and group SHEQ standards are adhered to

Qualifications & Experience    

• Matric
• Chemical Operations NQF 2
• Diploma in Supply Chain Management
• Syspro or SAP experience would be an advantage.
