About the Role
This role provides elite educational leadership in a high-RPM independent school environment, managing student data and Cambridge curriculum compliance. Utilizing digital learning platforms and Office 365 for academic tracking, the teacher ensures 100% adherence to international assessment standards. Their work reduces operational risk in academic delivery and leverages data-driven pedagogy to optimize the learning outcomes for students in the Greytown hub.
- This position combines academic teaching, technical support, extracurricular involvement, and school-wide marketing responsibilities. The role is designed to strengthen our IT, Afrikaans, and project-based learning offerings while supporting the broader needs of the school.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Academic Responsibilities
- Information Technology.
- Coding and Robotics.
- Support ICT curriculum development and project-based learning initiatives.

Technical & Administrative Responsibilities
- Serve as School IT Technician.
- Lead the Sound Tech Team.
- Manage and update the School Website and oversee Social Media Marketing.
- Coordinate the School Term Planner/Calendar.
Extracurricular Responsibilities
- Assist with Middle School sports coaching.
- Support extracurricular activities aligned with project-based learning and student engagement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or related field.
- Teaching qualification or equivalent experience in secondary and middle school education.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans language instruction.
- Additional certification in Coding, Robotics, or ICT curriculum development is advantageous.
Career Growth & Education
A B.Ed or PGCE and professional registration with SACE are mandatory. Career growth leads toward Head of Department or Principal roles within the independent school sector.
