Training Facilitator

  • ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for an experienced and dynamic Training Facilitator.

Position Overview

  • The Training Facilitator is responsible for developing, delivering, and coordinating training programs for new and existing employees within ACDC Dynamics and Express. 
  • The facilitator supports workforce capability by providing engaging inductions, practical training sessions, competency assessments, and ongoing development initiatives.

Key Performance Areas

Induction & Onboarding

  • Deliver company inductions to new employees for both Dynamics and Express.
  • Cover safety procedures, compliance requirements, company policies, and job expectations.
  • Ensure new starters understand electrical safety regulations, licensing requirements, and organisational workflows.
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation.

Training Delivery & Coordination

  • Deliver training sessions with regards to product knowledge.
  • Facilitate practical and classroom-style training for field staff and office-based employees.
  • Support delivery of high-risk work training (e.g., LVR/CPR, lockout/tagout, working at heights) in collaboration with accredited trainers.
  • Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and competency matrices.
  • Provide system training for all new employees and co-ordinate with 3rd parties for relevant software.

Compliance & Competency Management

  • Conduct skills assessments and verify electrical competencies where permitted by regulations.
  • Monitor staff licenses, certifications, and refresher requirements.
  • Ensure training materials comply with relevant electrical legislation, WHS standards, and industry best practices.
  • Assist with audits and documentation updates for safety and compliance.

Training Program Development

  • Develop and update training materials, manuals, checklists, and digital resources.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create role-specific training pathways.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training quality and engagement.

Support & Communication

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to apprentices and new technicians.
  • Communicate training requirements, updates, and schedules to managers and team leaders.
  • Assist in fostering a positive safety culture and professional development mindset across the business.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in training, induction delivery, or workforce development (preferably in a trade, construction, or electrical environment) preferrable.
  • Strong understanding of electrical industry safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple training programs and deadlines.
  • High level of organisation and documentation accuracy.

Preferred:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • Background as an electrician, electrical technician, or related trade.
  • Experience creating online learning content.
