Actuarial Vacation Work (25 November – 6 December 2024)

• The actuarial vacation program is designed to give students basic work experience on KPMG clients. Students will join a number of interactive presentations with members of the actuarial team and will have on the job coaching on various actuarial engagements. They will assume limited responsibility for the work that they do.

Duration

• The program runs for two week sessions in both July and December each year. Each student selected will be allocated to a single two week session by KPMG.
• The program timetable consists of 1 day of formal training and 9 days of work in the actuarial team.

Requirements

• Students are required to be enrolled at an ASSA accredited University and must be studying actuarial science.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Vacation work experience.
