What you’ll do:

  • As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant from production to manufacturing. You will develop processes that increase productivity and enhance performance while ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and standards. Your role will involve establishing plant policies and procedures, reviewing and analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports. You will coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing
  • Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards, including health and safety
  • Establish plant policies and procedures
  • Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports
  • Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers
  • Implement cost control programs
  • Monitor and reduce production costs

What you bring:

  • The ideal candidate for this Site Manager position brings a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field along with 10+ years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing management. They have a proven track record of successful plant management in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferably in Chrome/ manganese processing. They possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants as well as experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills are essential for this role.
