Key Responsibilities:

• Design fire protection systems for buildings and structures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Conduct fire risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate fire hazards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.
• Review construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections of buildings and facilities to assess their fire safety readiness.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on fire safety procedures and protocols.
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements in fire protection technology.
• Respond to fire emergencies and assist in coordinating firefighting efforts.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation related to fire safety compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in fire engineering or related role.
• Professional Engineering certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in emergency situations.
• Proficient in using fire protection design software and tools.
