Introduction

• A gynaecology practice situated in a reputable Pretoria East based hospital, is seeking an organised and sufficient Nurse with 4+ years’ experience within a similar role to join the practice.

Job Purpose

• This role will be responsible for the scheduling of patient appointments, medical billing and sending of theatre lists.

Requirements

• Minimum Education (Essential)
• General nursing, community nursing, psychiatry, and maternity.
• Minimum applicable experience (years)
• Minimum of 4 years + of experience.

Duties include but are not limited to

• Theatres: Theatre quotations, consents and all arrangements regarding theatres, theatre
• scanning. Contact patients to provide them with their theatre and admission times.
• Telephone Management: Answer calls, schedule theatre appointments, and follow up
• theatre appointments. Contact patients to schedule additional appointments as needed
• and discuss results.
• Sterilizing all equipment.
• Checking all medical reports and results.
• Check ward event.
• Accurately complete PBM and UIF forms and ensure that invoices are processed
• accordingly.
• Discovery Labour journey Forms.
• All Urine and pregnancy tests.
• Prescriptions.
• Medical Certificates.
• Typing and sending out all clinical letters.
• Update NVD/C – section file weekly on excel sheet.
• Ensure that the Dr’s examination room are always prepared and stocked up, clean and
• neat.
• Reception Coverage: Manage reception as needed.
