Description
- Assist the Procurement personnel to provide selected sourcing services to the Fraser Alexander business, using the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for commodities, in an assigned category, at the lowest total cost of ownership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning
- Actively track procurement dashboard (i.e. contract coverage, buying pattern, localisation) and proactively address and escalate issues.
- Provide support with the development of strategies through the analysis and gathering of data.
- Identify, enable, and track value and inclusive procurement opportunities.
- Execute relevant project procurement activities in a timely and visible manner.
- Track and monitor progress tracking against sourcing and category management targets.
- Procurement Value Delivery
- Support the implementation of procurement strategies to support business needs and improve value delivery.
- Optimise value through innovation, risk mitigation and growth throughout the relationship life cycle.
- Support the development of sourcing and contracting strategies and plans through data gathering and analysis.
- Create proactive visibility and continuous improvement of sourcing and demand pipeline.
- Analytics
- Gather and analyse category spend, market and industry data.
- Gather and analyse market and industry data to identify opportunities.
- Assist the Procurement personnel in preparing for and conducting negotiations as well as implementing agreement activities.
- Stakeholder Management
- Managing specific inter-dependencies with key business processes.
- Adopt new ways of working and system usage within Procurement.
- Identify digitisation opportunities and develop compelling business cases.
- Sustainability
- Support culture of Sustainable value through ESG.
- Provide support with the implementation of sustainable value creation strategies.
- Support Procurement team to identify ESD needs and opportunities.
- Procurement Excellence
- Identify opportunities for improved ways of working and enhance execution.
- Support Procurement function with the implementation of active contracts.
- Adopt new ways of working and systems usage within the team.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION
- Relevant degree.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years experience in Procurement and ESG environment.
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Ability to interpret Financial and market analysis.
- Extensive practical experience in project study development.
- Ability to develop dashboard.
- Extensive Analytical skills.
- Critical and systems thinking capability.
- Safety and Sustainability as it relates to Procurement.
- Negotiation shills.
