Job Summary
- This role involves providing administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient daily office operations, including record‑keeping, documentation, coordination, and general assistance across departments.
Responsibilities and Duties
- General administrative support, including electronic and hard‑copy filing
- Processing company orders, quotations, credit notes, and sales documentation
- Procurement, sales, EFT processing, and account administration
- Managing consumable invoices, stock, stationery, and asset registers
- Capturing daily stock, production, timber intake, and market data
- Verifying tickets, creating orders, matching invoices, and resolving queries
- Maintaining accurate records for audits, claims, and creditors
- Supervising and supporting weighbridge and invoicing staff when required
- Preparing reports, reconciliations, and submitting documentation to Head Office
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric / Grade 12
- Qualification in Accounting or related field (advantageous)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a related field
- Computer literate (proficiency in MS Word and Excel)
- Previous experience working with Sage and AS400
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Good organising skills
- Hard working
