Job Summary

  • This role involves providing administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient daily office operations, including record‑keeping, documentation, coordination, and general assistance across departments.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • General administrative support, including electronic and hard‑copy filing
  • Processing company orders, quotations, credit notes, and sales documentation
  • Procurement, sales, EFT processing, and account administration
  • Managing consumable invoices, stock, stationery, and asset registers
  • Capturing daily stock, production, timber intake, and market data
  • Verifying tickets, creating orders, matching invoices, and resolving queries
  • Maintaining accurate records for audits, claims, and creditors
  •  Supervising and supporting weighbridge and invoicing staff when required
  • Preparing reports, reconciliations, and submitting documentation to Head Office

Qualifications and Skills

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Qualification in Accounting or related field (advantageous)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a related field
  • Computer literate (proficiency in MS Word and Excel)
  • Previous experience working with Sage and AS400
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Good organising skills
  • Hard working
