Responsibilities

Store operations and team leadership

  •  Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  •  Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
  •  Maintain a high standard of customer service and order management
  •  Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Sales and revenue growth

  • Drive sales performance through effective upselling, staff training, and strategic pricing
  • Analyse sales trends and revenue reports and implement strategies to maximize profitability
  • Organize in-store promotional events and ensure optimal product display

Inventory and financial management

  • Monitor stock levels, purchases, and store budget compliance
  • Oversee financial administration, minimize losses, and manage periodic stock counts
  • Ensure all transactions and logistics, including Pastel, CM, Onfleet, and standard operating procedures, are well-managed

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Diploma in business administration, sales, or a related field is desirable
  • Four to five years of experience in retail management or leadership roles is mandatory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and retail management systems
  • Strong point of sale and inventory management experience
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • A positive attitude with a focus on delivering results
