KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain quality control of all aspects of site work. Maintain strict monitoring over all aspects of site safety during course of contracts to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Compile and submit reports to the Project Manager. Conducting random materials quality inspection. Ensure that the Contractor adheres to the Management Plan. Ensure that Close-Out Reports are consistent with actual work done, and with Johannesburg Water’s Standard requirements. Undertake construction management to ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget, safely and in compliance with environmental concerns. Assists with compilation of Tender documents and Tender Committee adjudication reports.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience:
- National Diploma Civil Engineering (NQF 6)
- 3 years working experience in Water and Sewage/Sanitation projects.
- Valid Drivers’ Licence Code B
