What you will be doing:

  • Manage inbound and outbound client engagement
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and what the competition is doing.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Show potential clients how our cloud and security solutions can benefit them.
  • Create and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Create tailored proposals and close high-value deals.
  • Work closely with the tech and support teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience and transition new clients to account management after the sale.
  • Give feedback to product development teams based on what customers need and what’s happening in the market.
  • Track and report on sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Use CRM tools to manage customer relationships and pipeline activity.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events.

What our client is looking for:

  • A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (Business, Marketing, IT, etc.).
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong preference for IT sector experience.
  • Proven track record of success selling cloud and/or security solutions.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Holds certifications in cloud or security technologies (e.g., Mimecast, Netskope, Fortinet).
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in IT and digital transformation.
