What the day will look like
Revenue Growth Responsibilities:
- Accountable for generating new business through lead generation initiatives.
- Engaging in upselling and cross-selling strategies with current clients.
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, retention, revenue growth, and profitability.
Coordinating, improving, and nurturing daily client relationships.
- Developing comprehensive client profiles that assess risks and identify needs within the client portfolio.
- Crafting insurance programs tailored to the specific needs of the clients.
- Creating client documentation, including policy papers and claims data, and actively participating in renewal meetings and fee negotiations.
Managing the renewal process, which entails:
- Collaborating with Client Service Advisors to prepare pre-renewal documentation.
- Conducting meetings with clients – in person is the preferred method.
- Negotiating terms with insurance providers.
- Interacting with various departments within Aon to get the best solutions for clients.
- Issuing renewal notifications.
- Sending cancellation letters where necessary.
- Collaborating with Client Service Advisors to uphold client service standards.
- Providing support to the Strategic Account Manager or Business Manager for larger, more intricate accounts.
- Maintaining compliance in all client interactions (Comply with FAIS; Draft comprehensive minutes of meetings; etc.).
- Take ownership of credit control processes.
- Assisting with claims inquiries from claims department as well as clients, as required.
- Be a team player and willing to assist the team as and when required.

Qualifications.
- A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferable
- Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act
- Must be registered as an associate with the IISA
Knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of policy wordings
- An extensive knowledge of the South short-term insurance markets
- An in-depth strategic knowledge of industry and business strategies and company goals
- Digital literacy with sophisticated know-how in MS Word and Excel.

- Skill and confidence to articulate Aon’s proposition and how it differentiates Aon and benefit clients.
- Advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities.
- Well- Developed communication skills.
- Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken.

Experience.
- Have a demonstrated ability in a similar or related role.
