• The Collections Specialist is accountable and is a single/first point of contact for collection process of customer accounts.
• The Collection Specialist ensures integrity of debtor’s accounts and that all payment collection responsibilities are met in accordance with Danone policy.
• Drive collection processes to maximise collections and minimise bad debt. He/she is responsible for leading issue resolution and risk management related to debtor’s account management.
• The Collections Specialist works closely with the appropriate individuals at the customer and within Danone (Sales, OTC OM, Finance, etc.) to resolve all issues.

Qualification(s)

• Matric
• Credit Management 3
• Accounting Qualification will be advantageous

Experience and Skills

• 5 years solid collections / credit control experience
• 2-3 Years’ experience in and FMCG environment (Wholesale / Traditional Trade)
• Knowledge of MS Office, MS Windows and MS Excel
• SAP experience
