Your responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:

• Execution of the C&I scope on EPC and EPCM projects.
• Work with minimal supervision in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to the project schedule and allocated budget.
• Liaise with other engineering disciplines and other support departments to ensure alignment between all parties.
• Liaise with clients and vendors to ensure alignment with all parties.
• Develop communication design for control systems and data networks.
• Develop the control system design for the project including control narratives and supporting documents for the control and shutdown systems.

Your profile

• The candidate must be in possession of a BSc / B.Eng. Electrical/ Electronic Engineering degree and be registered as a professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).

The candidate must be experienced in the following fields:

• At least 6 years specific C&I design experience with min 3 years in the Oil & Gas environment.
• Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards
