Main Purpose of Job

  • The role will be responsible for analysing internal business and external market data tidentify opportunities, gaps, and problems within the organization.
  • This role includes evaluating the performance of the Marketing, Sales and Prescription (Rx) teams against their KPIs and contributing tdata improvement initiatives tdevelop a world-class insights and analytics
  • environment, establishing the function as a competitive advantage within the healthcare industry.
  • To develop an insights and analytics business unit, passionate about identifying unmet needs, gaps and opportunities thereby prioritizing investment and maximising ROI.
  • The role will alsbe responsible tdevelop and nurture a data-driven culture across the organisation with the establishment, maintenance and enhancement of a self-service reporting structure, telling a story with data democratising data and analytical skills.

Key Performance Areas (Core, essential responsibilities – outputs of the position)
Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyse internal business data tidentify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate external market data tunderstand the competitive landscape and market opportunities.
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives tstakeholders in leadership, R&D, sales, marketing, digital marketing and engineering

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor and report on the performance of sales and Rx team representatives against KPIs.
  • Provide actionable insights timprove team performance and meet business objectives.

Data Improvement Initiatives

  • Participate in ad-hoc data improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with the IT and data management teams tenhance data quality and integrity.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Work closely with the Marketing Executive team talign data analysis efforts with business goals.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations tsenior management and other stakeholders.

Problem-solving and Insights Generation

  • Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills tidentify business opportunities and address gaps.
  • Translate complex data intactionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams tsupport business initiatives.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues tfoster a data-driven culture.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION

  • Any degree within the STEM disciplines that may include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Science
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics and/or Applied Mathematics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum experience of 2- 4 years working in a similar role

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience using analytics and statistical techniques tdeduce insights which contribute
  • tcompany growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Knowledge is preferable in any data analysis tools and programming languages
  • Power BI
  • Python
  • R
  • SQL
  • Experience working with and creating dashboards and reports using all relevant data to
  • inform decisions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
  • Ability tinterpret complex data and translate it intactionable insights.
  • High level of proficiency in the ability ttell a story with data using Microsoft Office
  • Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Advantageous

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry:
  • Understanding of doctor prescribing data (IQVIA, Dis-Chem etc.) and pharmacy sales data
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain
  • Experience in dealing with the following marketing elements:
  • Deep insight intconsumer behaviour
  • Experienced in mapping customer journeys
  • Experienced in leveraging insight from digital marketing analytics
  • Develop statistical research tools (quantitative and qualitative) tgather data from the field
