Minimum Requirements

  • NQF 7 qualification in Operations, Project Management, Business Administration or Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant working experience.
  • Understanding of and/or experience in the water sector will be advantageous.
  • Track record in achieving results

Primary Duties

  • Ensure that the Divisional annual strategic plan is implemented and updated at required intervals.
  • Develop the Division’s procurement plan and ensure effective implementation.
  • Monitor and report on the Division’s goals, objectives, key performance indicators and targets and provide necessary support to the Division.
  • Provision of financial support services to the Division and ensure expenditure targets are met.
  • Business Analysis of operation insights within the SAM Division environment
  • Coordinate the Division’s staffing needs with the corporate Human Resources function.
  • Provide a framework to enable staff to provide high quality service to the customers.
  • Engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders in support of the Division.

  • Knowledge of pertinent legislation of the water sector
