ABOUT YOU:

We’re looking for someone with:

• A BCom degree
• Three or more years working in the finance industry, specifically TB processing, expense and balance sheet analysis. (Experience in an inventory environment is a plus.)

And who’ll handle:

• Full Financial Function and supporting the Senior Accountant, Finance Manager and Finance Executive
• Direct and indirect taxation
• Reporting and data analysis
• Review of routine balance sheet control procedures and identify, escalate and resolve any risks.
• Performing the more technical and challenging reconciliations and analysis where required.
• Monitoring, escalating and resolving Sub Ledger and General Ledger differences
• Ensuring the execution of routine VAT controls that highlight VAT risks.
• The key support role in IFRS compliance.
• Staff management.
• Project management for month ends and other key reporting dates tensure deadlines are met.
• The key support role in statutory audit.
• Supporting preparations if reporting presentations.
• Supporting ad hoc projects where required.
