Growers Services Manager Job at Farm Managers SA

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in agriculture industry is advantageous
• 4+ years’ experience in the role of Growers Liaison
• Computer literate
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skill
• Valid driver’s licence

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with macadamia growers and suppliers.
• Coordinate supply to ensure consistent delivery aligned with production needs.
• Monitor and enforce quality standards and compliance with industry requirements.
• Conduct farm visits and provide technical support to improve yield and quality.
• Collect and analyse grower data, and report on performance and supply forecasts.
• Support contract management and ensure adherence to agreed terms.
• Communicate market requirements and align growers with export standards.
• Engage with local communities and promote sustainable farming practices.
