Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

 HR Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Act as a coach and advisor to leaders, fostering their development and enabling effective people management.
  • Drive organizational development and change initiatives to ensure business success.

Field HR Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including time and attendance, local benefits, and payroll coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and address employee relations issues proactively.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes.

Employee Engagement and Development:

  • Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Facilitate learning and development opportunities tailored to local and organizational needs.
  • Promote inclusion and psychological safety within the workplace.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in roles such as HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting both leadership teams and operational HR needs.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in a matrixed or global organization is advantageous.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute operational tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborative team player with a direct and results-oriented approach.
  • Resilient and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
  • Committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to travel between the offices in South Africa.
