KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, vet, review, negotiate and approve commercial and legal agreements applicable to the business units within the organisation.
• Provide legal advice to relevant stakeholders.
• General attendances to queries sent to the Legal and Compliance Department.
• Draft legal opinions for other business units.
• Advise on relevant legislation and regulatory requirement that impact the organisation.
• Facilitate legal training of employees.
• Conduct a legal risk management and ensure compliance
• Create and maintain standard agreement templates.
• Provide legal advice to various department on special projects and adhoc basis

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• A Bachelor of Law degree (LLB)
• 1 – 3 years’ experience within the legal environment
• Admitted attorney and registered with an applicable Law Society
• Commercial awareness and professional knowledge
• Hardworking, honest and reliable
• Good problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Work Independently and apply sound Judgement.
• Confident with good leadership skills
• Fully computer literate
