ABOUT THE JOB

• The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for the oversight and execution of all learning initiatives across the Group. This includes the design and execution of the curriculum, preparation of a TNA, compilation of the WSP, reporting on ROI, maintenance of all learning reports and advising on improvements to the Group’s learning and development needs

KEY AREAS OF RESPOSIBILITY:

• Design a learning and development plan aligned to the business strategy.
• Ensure TNA’s are conducted and submitted in a timeous manner.
• Complete and monitor a training budget that is aligned to training needs and business strategy
• Complete and submit a WSP and annual training report for each company within the Group.
• Schedule and facilitate skills development meetings on a quarterly basis.
• Leverage the benefits of the SETA to ensure the maximum value is attained from the various SETA offerings.
• Oversee the development of curriculum for key skills across the business.
• Manage and oversee the assessment of employees to ensure transfer of learning has occurred.
• Keep abreast of industry trends to ensure best practice.
• Full coordination and facilitation of training at both head office and plant
• Mapping Talent Reviews action to learning objectives
• Building functional capability working with the Transformation Lead
• Providing LMS and E-learning expertise
• Leading business and functional onboarding
