Maintenance Manager needed at Peermont Global

Job Purpose

• Lead the Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. Responsible for planned scheduling creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Technical qualifications/Apprenticeship
• Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred.

Minimum Requirements

• 5 years artisan experience
• 5 years Management/Supervisory experience
•  Previous technical and maintenance experience in a Casino/Hotel environment will be an advantage
•  Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Good financial acumen
• Good Interpersonal Skills
•  Preference will be given to affirmative action candidates

Main Resposibilites

• Maintenance of the reticulation services, water drainage, electricity, gas and air conditioning
• General maintenance throughout the complex
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration
• Monitor and co-ordinate all services performed by contractors on site
• Conduct inspections of building and grounds to ensure complex complies with building regulations and in line with occupational, Health and Safety Act
• Attend to breakdowns
• Staff supervision, direction and development
• Submit energy saving initiatives
• Budgeting, analyzing monthly financial statement for the department and cost saving
•  Ensure FMS is controlled and regular reports are completed
• Participate in operations development meetings
• Ensure guest satisfaction by dealing with queries and complaints efficiently
