Responsibilities:
- Prepare, process and oversee the monthly payroll on Sage 300 People for allocated companies in the Group
- Execute payroll functions in alignment with policies, procedures, SARS compliance and Sage methods of calculation
- Capture and process all new appointments, employee information changes and terminations accurately and timeously
- Coordinate time and attendance and leave control for allocated companies
- Responsible for the administration of ESS for the Group
- Assist with employee benefit administration for the Group
- Ensure that all employees have updated employee files
- Assist with monthly reporting
- Responsible for managing the HR consumables budget, stationary orders and purchase orders
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate with SAGE 300 Payroll administration certificate
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll administration, with extensive experience working on Sage 300
- Experience in Time and Attendance systems
- Advanced computer literacy
- Excellent verbal, oral and written communication
- Able to analyse and interpret information
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Able to meet deadlines
- Resilient and able to consistently deliver results
- Ability to show initiative, collaborate at all levels, dependable, and able to work under pressure.
