• Set, drive and deliver ambitious manufacturing cost reduction targets that positively contribute to the profitability of the business year after year.
• Continuously increase the manufacturing capacity on the sites in order to ensure successful delivery on our market penetration and growth strategies and targets.
• Develop plans to improve the sites’ manufacturing and technical performance through the use of World Class Manufacturing (Lean Manufacturing) tools
• Liaise with the other departments to ensure that finance targets, delivery schedules, quality and market needs are achieved.

Is this job for you ?

• The ideal candidate must have a appropriate university degree (BSC; B.Eng. Electrical/Mechanical/ Chemical)World Class Manufacturing Instructor- added advantage, with Minimum 10 years’ Demonstrable experience, within industrial/ manufacturing environment.Minimum of 5 years Operations/Plant management experience in a continuously evolving manufacturing environment where WCM/TPM and ISO practices are well entrenched. This role calls for a person with the ability to Ability to coach and develop others, the ideal candidate will need exposure in plant turnaround strategy. Good communication skills and Interpersonal skills.

• The primary purpose of the Plant Manager will be to develop, integrate and drive the operations strategy to ensure the delivery of overall business objectives.
• The Plant Manager will take accountability for technical aspects of manufacturing within Insulation and on a national basis leading the teams across these divisions to deliver continuous improvement in processes and procedures.
