Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

• Pick parts and schedule them to the bays;
• Load requirements onto SAP – service and production orders;
• Manage the IEPC process;
• Create data packs for the shopfloor;
• Schedule work as per the available parts;
• Raise PP12 requisitions for non-stock items;
• Manage shortages;
• Manage Production and Service Orders;
• Date management as per demand (machine build schedules, customer orders, R&R and CEP);
• Run WIP control every second day.

Minimum Skills required

• Grade 12 or equivalent;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the mining industry environment;
• A combination of educational and experiential background is important;
• Product knowledge as well as exposure to the underground operational environment is advantageous;
• Knowledge of essential Komatsu Mining Corp. systems, such as SAP, Microsoft Office, View & Print, etc;
• Attention to detail and an understanding of and technical appreciation of manufacturing and assembly principles;
• Team player – working within a team towards achieving common goals as part of a drive towards improving customer satisfaction and the Komatsu Mining Corp. business.
