Requirements

• A relevant Btech/Degree.
• 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in environmental auditing and compliance monitoring or similar environment.
• Computer Literacy - MS Office Applications
• Junior project management/co-ordinator/administrator experience in a waste environment (Advantageous).
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Professional registrations (Advantageous).

Key Performance Areas

• Environmental authorisation compliance auditing of waste management facilities.
• Oversight of landfill gaseous emissions and water quality monitoring programs and results.
• Conducting research projects with data collection.
• Interpretation of information from various sources.
• Professional communication with regulatory authorities and external clients, about waste management, environmental compliance and the reporting of incidents.
• Establishment and maintenance of an audit and environmental monitoring data base for waste management facilities.
• Document and records management.
