What needs to be done?

  • Manage tenders on the applicable company platform as well as the Customer Relationship Database. This includes project budgets, uploading of budgets, verifying project status and reporting on required criteria.
  • Manage cash generation by performing project invoicing accurately, effectively and submitted before cut-off time. This includes processing of invoice instructions.
  • Ensure effective Customer Relationship Management via monthly customer evaluations, including the required administration and communication with Project Engineers.
  • Capture and report monthly departmental budgets for projects as well as “Indirect” departmental cost accumulation and control. 
  • Liaise with Project Engineers on cost / invoice assessments and report accordingly.
  • Undertake status reviews to assess which current projects are live or closed and to define what action needs to be taken in concluding project lifecycle.
  • Perform general administrative duties including but not limited to:
  • General Purchase Orders
  • Department Leave management and administration
  • Expense claims
  • Minutes of Meetings
  • SOX Compliance: Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley and AX controls.

What do you need to bring? 

  • Grade 12
  • Office Administration /Business Administration qualification.
  • 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • 3 years project management experience in a technical environment.
  • Project Management qualification will be an advantage.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Be process and document driven.
  • Ability to work on more than one project at a time.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
